These are the successful endings in Lost in Blue 2.

The 2nd Raft Ending[]

This ending is unlocked after the player visits the peaks at the Headland, on the north of the island before 5 pm. After reaching the highest peak, the protagonist will spot a large cargo ship, and attempt to signal it. After an unsuccessful attempt at waving down the ship, they will decide that they will need to find another way to reach the boat.

Upon revisiting Beach 4, an earthquake will trigger while exiting the northern passage of the Ruins, after which you discover that the rubber life raft on the beach has washed out to sea. The Protagonist will decide to build the 2nd Raft. It will require more materials than the first one used at the lake, namely with the addition of fur being needed for a sail.

After the raft is complete, the player must bring their partner to Beach 4 between the hours of 10.00 AM and 11.55 A.M and set sail for the ocean. Jack and Amy will sail together, before standing up and waving the ship down for help. They are both rescued, and the ending will trigger.

The Life Raft Ending[]

While the premise of this ending is similar to the 2nd Raft Ending, the two are very different in their execution. This ending is unlocked after the Life Raft from Beach 4 blows out to sea, following the earthquake after unlocking the 2nd Raft Ending. Jack and Amy plan to leapfrog to inhabited islands by sailing the life raft there.

After this occurs and the player revisits Beach 3, the protagonist will be shocked to discover that the life raft has washed up on this beach, through tidal drift. They will excitedly comment that they must tell their partner about this.

After heading home to have a conversation about the raft, the two will agree on using it to escape the island. There is some equipment the protagonist must gather before leaving on the boat, however. All of this equipment is necessary to avoid Jack and Amy's demise at sea from starvation. The survivors must have in their inventories:

  • 10 lunchboxes each (The content of these does not matter)
  • 2 filled Bottle each
  • Map A, found by diving on the northeastern side of Beach 4. The player MUST have this map in their inventory, it is not enough for their partner to be holding it.

Board the boat with the aforementioned items. After rowing for a few days, Jack and Amy will discover a lighthouse and a coastal town, and happily declare that they're saved.

Helicopter Ending[]

This ending is one of the easier ones to achieve. To unlock it, the player must visit the peak of the Headland on the north side of the island at 5 pm. Visiting any earlier will unlock the 2nd Raft Ending instead. This time, instead of a boat, the protagonist will hear the blades of a helicopter passing by. They will jump and yell to signal it, but will not be noticed. They will ponder how to catch its attention and come up with the idea to build a bonfire at the cliff peak.

The bonfire does not require any special resources besides wood and is easy to build. The player must bring the materials needed to build the bonfire to the look-out point at 5 pm along with your partner and a fire starter. After constructing and lighting the fire, The chopper will notice Jack and Amy and rescue them.

Radio Ending[]

This ending is unlocked after the player first meets with the Dying Man in the Ruins, who will tell the protagonist that if they want to survive, they have to get off the island. He will comment on a two-way radio he dropped on the island, urging the player to find it. If the player has a Mugwort in their inventory (it doesn't matter if it is spoiled), they can give it to the man, who will urge the protagonist to contact Marine Search and Rescue and to tell them about the volcano.

To find the radio, the player must first engage in four successful spoken interactions with the Gorilla, by copying what he says into the DS microphone. After this, they must trade lunchboxes, necklaces, and water with him, until he gives the player the radio in return. Next, the player must visit the peak of the cliff on the Headland, on the northern side of the island, and give their location as "Volcano" to the Search and Rescue crew in order to be rescued.

Because of the unpredictability and difficulty of the monkey's speech patterns, combined with the monkey's random trades, this ending can be very difficult to get.

Pillar Ending[]

This ending is unlocked when the player first discovers a pillar in the Ruins. They must bring a lit torch, and use it to light the brown wall sconces. This will unlock secret pathways, leading to the revelation of two different pillars in the ruins if both are lit. This will unlock the ending.

The Pillar Ending requires that five different pillars on the island be lit in order and before 6 pm After the 2nd pillar is lit, a short cutscene will play, which shows the location of the next pillar. The pillar locations are:

Pillar 1: - In the Ruins 2, in the tunnel to the Headland
Pillar 2: - In the Ruins 1, south of the exit to Beach 4
Pillar 3: - In the Lake, directly south of the Ruins entrance, along the thin strip of land.
Pillar 4: - In the Swamp, centre north, on one of the small islands.
Pillar 5: - In the Jungle, just above the entrance to the bamboo grove on the steep hill.

Note: The outdoor pillars will not spawn until the previous ones before it are lit.

This ending requires a few specific things during the trip:

  • Bringing your partner for Pillar 5
  • A Torch, along with materials to relight it; a Fire Maker and couple of Twigs
  • (If playing as Jack) A Bow and Arrow for Pillar 5
  • (if playing as Amy) 9 metres of Rope for Pillar 5
  • Lunchboxes are recommended, as there is a lot of traversing the island involved.

Once the last pillar is lit in the Jungle, a plane travelling overhead will notice the smoke, and the Survivors will be rescued. It is recommended that the player begins this trip early, and preferably from one of the two treehouse base, as it must be completed before 6 pm. This ending is the most difficult, as it requires strong knowledge of the island and a lot of preparation.
