Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any intention to document survival kids here as they are part of the same series, or just the lost in blue games. :) if not I want to talk about survival kids here and my love for them, don't get me wrong I do love lost in blue as well but survival kids is equally as great and very different. So survival kids 1 and 2, let's start with one
A fun little game with 8 endings some of the endings have shared denominators but apart from the 100 day endings each can be fun to get. In this game you get a little monkey called bub or what ever you name him to help you out, you can choose to find the other person or not in the game, I think why it is so fun for me to play is the same reason lost in blue is fun but it is less complex so I like that. There are some really fun glitches in this one if any one likes them, the speedrun for ending 3 is only just below 3 minuets, and this is with watching the opening cut scene. Survival kids also has some out of bounds glitches too but enough about glitches and on to survival kids 2.
Survival kids 2 my favorite out of the two it is Japanese exclusive but there is an English patch online. This game only has 5 endings but also includes for them 5 endings a special scene if you get the special ending, it is more complex than survival kids 1 with more to do and this time a parrot helps you that you can also rename, the endings are more varied besides the 100 days endings and the mechanics are a lot more fun to play with and more items to merge. No glitches yet though but that is fine, one more thing I want to mention with Survival kids 2 a cool thing about this game is you can start from the island or the prison and this changes the experience of the game as well, quite a lot of replayability here. If you want to play in Japanese I have a half translated item list of the moment I hope to finish soon. ^_^
In Japan Lost in blue still keeps its Survival kids name so the connection in the Japanese region is a lot more apparent. I recommend them if you love lost in blue very highly they are simple but very addictive and a little bit more relaxing. I want to put pictures in but I only really have photos of the glitches in sk1 and I took no pictures of SK2 stuff.
